Hey Reader,
Anyone else wear their weighted vest to cook dinner....or is that just me?
I mean, girl. I'm trying over here, but it's kind of a lot, right?
And, the kids' spring sports & band schedules just dropped, which is making me regret telling my kids to go out there & do their best.
For real--I thought we were supposed to be rewarded for good parenting. I swear...if that Group Me goes off one more time I'm gonna scream.
And here’s what I realized this week:
I am not figuring dinner out in real time in March.
Zero standing at the fridge at 5:12pm hoping inspiration strikes.
100% NOT testing new 14-ingredient recipes on a Tuesday.
Absolutely nothing gets marinated overnight.
If life is gonna be all life-y on me in March, then dinner is getting simplified. Check & Check!
Not quick-ish. Not easy....but still 11 steps.
Actually done in 30.
I'm leaning into Texas Toast Sloppy Joes. Crunchy Asian Chicken Salad. Yaaas!
We're eating at home, for sure. Just not overcomplicating it.
Because here’s the truth:
❌You don’t need more recipes.
💯You need fewer decisions.
